SDL International, (London Stock Exchange:'SDL'), one of the largest providers of multilingual management solutions in the world, today announced the creation of a new Division - "SDL Benelux". This initiative builds on the existing success of the individual offices in the Netherlands (Hengelo) and Belgium (Leuven), combining local teams to create a seamless operation.

This integration follows the rapid growth SDL is experiencing in the European market. The new operation will provide clients such as Citibank, Sony and Philips with a greater critical mass of expertise from Technical Authoring and Localization to Consultancy and implementation of complete Publishing and Workflow Solutions.

With teams of Project Managers, in-house Translators, Engineers, DTP, Consultants and Authors across both locations, clients will now have access to almost 100 permanent staff to service the local market's multilingual requirements.

"With the increase in the need for localization services and the growing number of Workflow product solutions being committed to, we believe this new structure, will significantly increase our ability to deliver a high level of customer service, to grow our market share from the region and make SDL Benelux a centre of globalization excellence for our clients" says Dominic Kinnon, Group Divisional Director.
